What a throw for the second TD. Sixes all the way and well a well deserved win for the humans over the nurgle lords.

A slow burn defensive game with moments of blood bowl glory by the blitzers.

A Brutal match on a sunny afternoon, saw some creative plays from the human team. In particular they caught the undead off guard when their thrower chose to run the ball instead of what he was paid to do. Probably because he was drunk and failed to pick the ball up regularly. The undead slowly ground out their opposition and managed to run a touchdown themselves. The crowd were entertained by a last minute 'super play' from the humans coach that just failed the final throw. Draw a fair result and many happy fans

An unlucky match for the Elfenheim Fire this one right from the off! Although the Rag-Tag's star catcher Snalkia Hazescream fumbled the kick and it ending up in the hands of the Fire's very own catcher Elvidorian! Elfenheim made an immediate break for it down the side of the pitch but just over extended themselves and allowed Snalkia with the aid of 2 of her teammates to swoop down and knock the ball loose! Snatching up the ball Snalkia then ran the full length of the pitch to run in the Rag-Tag's first touchdown of the game with only a couple of turns left to play. With Elfenheim choosing to run out the clock for the remainder of the half rather than risk turning over the half drew to a close.
The second half opened up with a delay from the Shin Kickers after receiving and then mustering into formation leaving Gnarlthorn in great position to hurl Diigvazzask down field and score with plenty of time left on the clock. Unfortunately for the Shin Kickers the ref was eager to get home and moved time on on the restart. Elfenheim tried the other side of the pitch with blitzer Elfindor taking out Uzhoarrend in a clean block, but were swarmed by the Shin-kickers. Doomroot, who had taken root, after seeing what happened to one of his favourite 'flings snatched up Gryzhalk and threw her into the Elf cage knocking down Elvidorian and stunning Blitzar Elfindor. Gryzhalk survived the throw but was out of action for the moment. Elfenheim deciding that discretion was the better part of valour retreated into their own half and ran out the remainder of the clock passing the ball between themselves.

Wood Elves vs. Chaos Chosen

Very tense game, can't believe that a wardancer would have rolled 3 1s in succession.

An exciting opening match between two Chaos teams ready to win the cup for the Glory of Chaos!
The Death Watchers opened the scoring late in the first half after suffering the set back when Doomroot of the Eternal Moot popped Purigore the orc sending him off seriously injured. Luckily the Watchers' apothecary managed to treat most of it although they'll be out for another game.
Unfortunately for the Watchers it left enough time for the Shin-Kickers to pull a slow wander downfield enabling the Doomroot to throw his team-mate Wurkurrt the Irrational plus the ball just behind the Watchers lines and allowing Wurkurrt to run the ball in.
The second half saw the Shin-Kickers capitalise on a Watcher's mistake in the backfield and they swarmed forward harassing the Watcher's Skaven player Aranax till they stole the ball and Krullar Mightfury ran it in making it 2-1. Vengence was swift though and in the dying minutes of the game a fabulous end-to-end play by Aranax saw the ball pass to Rodekai who waltzed over the line evening the score.
Everyone thought it was all over as the lined up for the final play the Watchers kicking the ball to the edge of the field where Krullar picked it off the line and passed to Snalkia Hazescream. That was all Gnarlthorn was waiting for as he picked up the tiny catcher and hurled her into a gap in the Watchers' line enabling her to run as though Khorne himself was after her into the endzone just before the final whistle ending the games 3-2 Shin-Kickers!

Death Roller finally turns up (helped by an favourable extra bribe token awarded on kick off)and Cindy makes a late claim to start in the post season grudge match versus Animal Kingdom.
